Yes, exercise is a powerful part of overcoming COPD.  My first step was to go to respiratory therapy. The next step was to join 24 Hour Fitness where I walked to the front desk and rested.  At first I would walk around the track 15 feet and rest, 15 feet and rest. The next challenge was to walk 1.7 on the treadmill, it is hard to go that slow. Now, I can walk at a normal speed on the treadmill or elliptical.  This did not  happen overnight. Exercise, determination, changes in diet, along with proper medication and I now have 98% blood oxygen levels. I play golf and have a part-time job I enjoy.  Overcoming COPD is possible, get started today.



I OVER CAME COPD. I over came COPD through exercise, diet and taking my medication.
